The draw for the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers has been held, and Liberia have been drawn in Group E alongside Algeria, Equatorial Guinea and Togo.

The 2025 AFCON is expected to be held in Morocco with the qualifying rounds expected to begin in September 2024.

Liberia have made two appearances at the AFCON, in 1996 and 2002, with the team exiting the competition in the Group Stages both editions.
