LFA Successfully Concludes Another Grassroots Football Festival

The Liberia Football Association (LFA) concluded another successful edition of its Grassroots Football Festival on Saturday at the Blue Field in central Monrovia.

This event is part of the LFA’s grassroots football initiatives under its football development pillar. The festival featured teams from three sub-committees in Montserrado, with competitions held in the U8, U10, and U12 categories.

In the U8 category, GSA Road Youth Soccer Academy emerged as champions. The U10 championship was claimed by Gardnersville Sub-Association United Brothers Academy, while ELWA Jakpah Football Academy triumphed in the U12 category with a 2-1 victory, securing the championship title.

Individual accolades were also presented: Ansu R.M. Siryon was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the U8 category, while Michael Dioh earned the highest goalscorer award.

In the U10 category, Daniel Allison was honored as MVP, with Habakkuk Tokpah taking home the highest goalscorer award. Finally, in the U12 category, Bobby P.F. Zaza was recognized as both the Most Valuable Player and the highest goalscorer.
