LFA Kicks Off Module-2 of CAF A License Coaching Course

Module 2 of the CAF A License Coaching Course has officially kicked off at the Liberia Football Association (LFA) headquarters. Seventeen coaches, including four international participants from The Gambia and Zambia, are taking part in this prestigious CAF Elite Level Course.

The CAF Elite Level Coaching Course is designed to enhance coaches’ technical and tactical knowledge, equipping them with the tools needed to elevate the standard of football coaching in Africa.

This comprehensive course is being facilitated by CAF Elite Instructor Selam Kebede, who is joined by instructor J. Keatue Smith and CAF’s Elite Instructor Abraham Mebratu. The expertise and experience of these instructors provide the participants with invaluable insights into advanced coaching techniques and methodologies.

On Day 1 of Module 2, the participants engaged in group presentations focusing on Basic Football Knowledge, led by Coach Kebede. This interactive session allowed the coaches to deepen their understanding of foundational football concepts, fostering collaboration and sharing of ideas.

This marks the first time Liberia has conducted the CAF A License Coaching Course since 2014, after the country officially signed the CAF Coaching Convention and fulfilled the necessary requirements to organize the course.

This is a significant milestone for the development of football coaching in Liberia and the wider region.
