LFA Conducts Club Licensing Workshop for Stakeholders
LFA President Mustapha Raji has told stakeholders that the introduction of the Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP) to Liberia football is a ‘’legacy that raises the bar’’ and serves as a tool that makes the running of football easier by the day.
Raji was speaking on Wednesday, 3 July when he declared a segmented daylong CLOP Refresher Workshop open at the LFA HQ in Congo Town.
‘’Gone are those days when hardcopy documents were submitted to the Licensing Department and reviewed by the First Instant Board (FIB).
‘’We’re now utilizing a digital tool, CLOP—a legacy for us as we continue to raise the bar as the LFA looks forward to introducing more useful tools to make the football administration easier by the day,’’ said Raji.
Club Licensing Manager Mohammed Sheriff and Deputy Manager Benjamin Barchue will serve as presenters for the workshop, which will touch on:
A. Introduction to CAF Club Licensing System
B. Explanation of the National Club Licensing Regulations (men’s and women’s)
C. Implementation of the Club Licensing Online Platform, and
D. Club Licensing/CLOP Usage
Orange 1st Division clubs will attend the first session from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., while the Women’s Upper League Division will sit in at noon. The training closes with Orange 2nd Division clubs from 3 pm-5 pm.
